Lithium ion batteries are the new minimum standard for golf cart and battery design. Their long lifespan, quick recharge ability, size and high efficacy are worth the money in comparison to the heavier gel and lead-acid batteries and their associated issues.
CaddyCell is supported by SoloCart and we offer two different battery options for your consideration. There is a 16aH (amp hour) version which is suitable for 18 holes of golf with an appropriate trolley.
The 22aH version will handle 36 holes of golf without a recharge or should be considered by golfers who play on especially hilly or long courses.
The CaddyCell we supply is matched to our UK Golfstream Vision golf trolleys and a number of other products on the market. However, as long as your controller and drive system is 12V, then the battery and its connectors can be retrofitted to suit your existing trolley.
The CaddyCell includes a handy USB port which can be used to charge your phone or GPS product whilst on the go. The battery also becomes a useful tool when on fishing or camping trips for products with a USB connection.
CaddyCell will be provided with a compatible charger, a connector unit and a neoprene pouch.
